Terrible experience and will not rent from you again. I was charged $200 for something that I did not damage and that was on top of $800 of rental for 5 days. The monsters at MYCAR seem to know very well that I can ask VISA credit card company to reimburse me - and of course their vehicle is fully covered by insurance.

Hello, When we arrived, our plane was 1 hour late. Not seeing the "My Car" agent arrived, I called him after half an hour. He arrived 25 minutes later. He believed that our flight had been canceled!!!.. Luckily I called him because we wouldn't have had a car. For the departure. We have a reserved shuttle at 4 a.m. Given the weather conditions and the closed roads, we left home earlier. We arrived at 11:30 p.m. in front of the hotel, thinking that given the particular conditions, the agent could take us to the airport earlier. He replied that we had to either take a taxi or wait in the car. because the hotel is closed... It is 1:12 a.m. and my partner, I and our children are in front of the hotel, in the car waiting, in the cold. So no, this experience is not at all conclusive!!!

Renting a car with "MyCar Rental" was the only bad experience we had in our travel around Iceland. After arriving from Airport to the renting house and ones we had the keys of the car, we realised that the car had the front window almost broken with a fairly large slit. We had to discuss it for about an hour until we got another car. We had made the reservation almost two months in advance, enough time for them to have the car in perfect condition. It is known that in Iceland, due to the roads and the climate, there is a high risk of glass breakage and we had no intention of taking risks.

We always make sure the windshield is checked properly so we are sure it's safe to use but of course it's always ideal to have it replaced and we do show your concerns a full understanding.

The car was very low. For me it wasn't enough for F-roads. I expected a higher car. We had a breakdown during our trip. We crossed a river and the car stopped due to water damage. When I called the Mycar hotline, I learned that water damage was not covered even though we had selected a fully comprehensive insurance package. While we were picking up the car, we were not told that, although we asked several times whether everything was covered. The employee said only the underside of the car was not covered. And said nothing about water damage. This is not a good service. Mycar obviously tries to hide this and does not provide any information about such damage. After it has happened and the customer finds out something like that, it doesn't help. In the end we received an invoice for almost 11,000 euros. And threatened to pay us immediately before we leave the country. If we left the country without pay, MyCar would call the police and tell us not to. I have not had a good experience with Mycar and do not recommend it to anyone.
