We also visit Eldhraun Lava Field, Fjadraglufur Gorge, Kirkjubaejarklaustur Village, and the amazing Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon.

Day 3
Today we will explore the South-East of Iceland. We visit the small town Hornafjordur and the surrounding area where we might see some reindeer. We then go to Stokksnes and Djupivogur for some Icelandic nature and culture.

Day 4
The East of Iceland is on the agenda today. We visit Lagarfljot Glacier Lake and depending on the weather we either visit Hengifoss Waterfall and Skriduklaustur, or we visit Seydisfjordur Fjord. We travel through a large wasteland until we reach the most powerful waterfall in Europe, Dettifoss.

Day 5
On this day, we will explore the nature reserve of Lake Myvatn and its unique surroundings. We drive to Godafoss Waterfall (Waterfall of the Gods), and end the day in Iceland’s second largest town, Akureyri.

Day 6
We begin the day by going whale watching. After that we leave Akureyri and thread through many small towns and villages, including Saudarkrokur. We visit Thristapar, and the stunning rock formation Hvitserkur.

Day 7
We stop at a local museum at Reykir, before visiting several sites in the Borgarfjordur Area. We also visit the largest hot springing the world, Deildartunguhver, as well as we visit Hraunfossar and Barnafossar Waterfalls. On the way back to Reykjavik we drive through Hvalfjordur Fjord.
