Between July 5 and July 13 I rented a Dacia Dokker in Iceland and clocked up around 2 500 kilometres without a single issue. The pickup process was incredibly efficient—no more than three minutes from the time I arrived until I was handed the keys—and the return was just as smooth, taking only about two minutes. The vehicle performed flawlessly across all kinds of terrain, and I always felt confident and comfortable on the road. I’m extremely satisfied with my experience. The professionalism and speed of service left a strong impression, and I plan to use this company again on my next visit. Hi! The car was basically fine. The rear door was a bit stiff. The equipment could be a bit more complete, e.g. a few small spoons, a second dish towel.

Star was a star. I had a couple of changes to my rental - they just rolled with it. My camper van was great - all that I required for an Iceland camping adventure. I appreciated their customer service and genuine care for their customer.

Outstanding!

The camper van worked out great for us. It was stocked with everything we needed and the sleeping bags were super warm, very clean, and comfy. We had no issues with the van and everything went very smoothly on our trip. It was the perfect size for driving around as it was not too big but roomy enough for my son and I to sleep in.

Our experience renting a car with Northbound/Star Car Rental was smooth from beginning to end. We are always nervous about renting cars, whether in the US or other countries, because we end up paying more than we were supposed to, or we are told the insurance we chose wouldn't cover anything, etc. None of this happened, it was just a smooth, straight-forward transaction, and we had a great car for an excellent 2-week trip around the island. We couldn't have done it without the car. We chose a sleep-in-back Duster, which we found was not a popular choice at campgrounds, but we always sleep in cars at home, so for us this made sense. No need to worry with a roof-top tent- the back of the car was set up perfectly for a 1-minute transition to our beds being ready to go.

The camper was awesome. The bed was comfortable, the heater worked great and it was easy to drive. We didn't have any issues and the instructions were clear. The curtains were not as black out as I would have liked but overall it was a very comfortable campervan for our 10 day trip.
