Laugarfell is a hotel/hostel with a natural hot spring

Laugarfell is situated in the eastern parts highlands. There is 2km from the road that leads to Kárahnjúkar and to the hostel, the road is not paved. During the summer months, the hostel is easily accessible in any type of vehicle.

The hostel offers accomodation for up to 28 people. What makes this hostel special is that it is home to 2 natural pools.

Fun fact/folk tale: The pools are said to have 'healing powers'.

Reindeers can often be seen near to Laugarfell, and be sure to check out the surrounding area. Its simply breathtaking.
