The staff was very nice and helpful. Very quick to keep us informed and answer emails. Airport pickup worked out great. The car and wifi worked great the entire time. The tent was excellent, even in Icelandic weather. I highly recommend!

Booking was easy. When I changed the date of my reservation though, it seemed that there was a miscommunication with Camping Cars because they were waiting for me at the airport on the wrong day. Thankfully it got sorted out and pick up was a breeze. Super friendly and helpful service at pick up and through out the trip, until after I dropped off the car. At that point, things took a major nose dive. I returned the car close to empty. I did this because I did not receive the car full and was not told it needed to be filled up before dropping it off. If I had been told that, I would have taken a photo of the gas tank metre when I received it. I also wasn't told that Camping Cars has a discount with Olis, which would have been helpful during my travels. Unfortunately, Camping Cars refuses to give me any credit towards the gas, so I'm stuck paying for a full tank, even though I didn't get one. My rating would have been higher, but I thought this was very unreasonable.

Wonderful group of people, from our pickup and drop off drivers, to the agent that helped get us set up with our trusty little camping car. They gave us great tips on getting around and all the good sites to help us find camping sites, nearby hot springs, and check for updated road conditions. We even got alerts from them throuout our trip with alerts regarding severe weather conditions to help us stay safe. Highly recommend spending a little extra to have WiFi for the vehicle.

The service of CampingCars was amazing - can recommend 100%. We had a technical issue on the road and Bogi (from CampingCars) managed to resolve it with lightning speed and to our satisfaction, fixed issue temporarily so that we could continue while he sent another car to meet us on the road and switch. Therefore we lost no time and could stick to the plan. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent experience with Camping Cars. They picked us up from the airport, explained everything well. It was my first time driving on the right hand side of road and also an automatic car. Staff was really friendly and helpful, especially when I needed assistance with something. I would highly recommend this company. The roof tent was really easy to set up and put away. Very comfortable and just enough room for myself and my 2 children. Also good in windy conditions.

We were more than satisfied with the car and the rooftent. It is super easy to set it up and it also keeps rain outside. The matrace is thick enough to feel comfy. It was a very good way of experiencing iceland. The only info that was missing a bit was how long it actually is. For people who are 1.90m and taller it can get tight. Also, if the car key is kept in the tent, one can still open the car by pressing the button on the door.. maybe something to think about. But I guess in Iceland it is not such big a deal anyway. Otherwise it was all perfectly fine. The pickup and return of the car was absolutely easy and the staff was very friendly! I would definitely recommend this company!

Camping Cars has been great. A nice welcome at the airport, kind words, suggestions and descriptions for our trip! The guys at desk has been very polite and had great attentions to our needs, starting our journey and after for our questions. They helped us providing weather informations, streets, services. My kids and I had a great time, felt safe with the car and the assistance. The car was perfect for our needs and the price worth. All the service from Camping Cars was very good, kind and professional. Only we arrived sure that we could have two sleeping beds, as told by phone by Northbound before leaving, so we took just one with us. At Camping Cars they haven't been informed, but they provided us some blankets to pass the night. It wasn't enough and I had to buy other sleeping bags at a high price and low quality: we were too far from technical shops and we had to buy in a camping. But I'm sure communications between Northbound and Camping Cars will be better in future, so things like this won't happen anymore. Anyway, Iceland is so beautiful that some cold nights didn't ruin our holiday, the car was comfortable and the mattress thick and soft.

Great car, very handy on gravel roads, the roof of the tent is so easy to use (sometimes a bit tricky to close when the roof is wet though!) Very friendly staff!!
