Outstanding!

Very easy online rental, with range of vehicle options easy to identify.. Thrifty was the vehicle provider and they were very helpful, gave me an upgrade, no charge. I was able to extend my rental by one day through email, also very convenient. Would use again.

Fine

The staff were very kind but when we arrived we were forced to upgrade our car that I had already paid for in full, which cost extra. I felt like everything was designed to cost more money when you got there so the price I found online didn’t matter at all and that was very frustrating.

Wir haben ein großes Fahrzeug gesucht - Mit 6 Personen und Gepäck war das noch recht entspannt. Durch die extra 2 Sitze gehen ansonsten je ~40 % vom Kofferraum weg. Die Aussicht aus dem C4 Grand Picasso ist ideal für Island Reisen. Der Verbrauch bei eingestelltem Tempomat war optimal - ein angenehmes Cruisen um Island herum.

The rental pick-up and return process was very smooth - it made all the difference in how quickly we could be on our way as well as back to the airport when we returned the car. The rental agents were very good at explaining driving rules (safety) as well as insurance options.

Overall the experience I had with Northbound was excellent. The car I hired was very nice. Everything worked. We also decided to get the WiFi dongle as an extra, as we thought it would be easier overall, rather than buying a sim, and then hot spotting to each device. We weren't disappointed there either. The internet worked everywhere and it was fast. I'd highly recommend anyone thinking to rent a car, to rent from Northbound/Thrifty. It was a very smooth experience. Thanks!

This is my second time using Northbound, everything works fine and customer service answered my question very fast. I love my journey in Iceland and next time I will still choose Northbound! Only I hope it is possible the car rental company could also help to offer transportation service from the hotel closed to airport to rental company while returning the car.
