"We did not receive the vehicle we had initially reserved. We ended up with a SFAR, which was okay. There was no shuttle available for us, nor was any shuttle available upon call. Customer service was not available upon call. We waited at the airport for 2 hours for other travellers to pick us up and take us to our rental, which then resulted in us... Will probably not rent from Northbound again and would just rent directly with available companies at the Airport. Pick up experience was terrible and no flexibility for delayed or cancelled flights beyond our control."

"We rented a Toyota Yaris Cross and had an absolutely excellent experience from start to finish. We originally booked a 2023 model, but instead we were pleasantly surprised with a brand-new 2025 car. Our flight was delayed and arrived very late at night (around 2:15 AM). Even though the rental office officially closed at 2:00 AM and the last airport shuttle was at 01:20 AM, the team waited for us, picked us up at the airport, and brought us to the office quickly. Despite the late hour, all paperwork was completed in about 5 minutes, and we were on the road almost immediately. We are extremely grateful to the staff for waiting for us for almost an extra hour — both at the airport and at the office — just to make sure we could get the car. Thanks to them, we didn’t have to spend the night at the airport. This level of customer care is truly impressive and made a huge positive impact on our overall experience. We also had full insurance, which gave us complete peace of mind. As a nice bonus, full insurance included a Wi-Fi router, which is very helpful if you don’t have paid roaming or if mobile signal disappears while driving — a very thoughtful and useful extra. The car return was just as smooth: they checked the vehicle in about 2 minutes and immediately drove us to the airport. No waiting, no stress at all. Communication with the staff was very pleasant, friendly, and professional. Only positive impressions — highly recommended!"
