"Office pickup never told me about the gas button and the car had only half a tank when I got it. Also kilometre tracking was off compared to what I actually travelled. Car was great, great price, and drop off and shuttle was very smooth! Would recommend!"

"Poor service. Won’t recommend. I booked through Northbound, and the rental car was provided by Ring. The car’s driving mode selector was faulty. I reported this to the help centre and obviously at that point they could not do anything about it. So I was mostly stuck to driving on the regular mode instead of the snow mode on the icy Icelandic roa... Leia maisds in January. At the time of delivery, the fuel tank was only 3/4th full but I was required to return the car with a full tank. The biggest issue is that I have been overcharged by Ring for road tax. They noted the wrong odometer reading and has charged me for an extra 1000+ km of driving which I never did. I raised dispute and provided photographs of the odometer at the time of pick up and delivery but they have not refunded the money. Worst is that I have written to both Northbound and Ring twice with evidence but they have not even acknowledged my email, forget about resolving the issue. I will not recommend booking through Northbound or Ring to anyone."

"We booked a 2022 Suzuki Vitara Automatic from Ring, but instead we were given a comparable Mitsubishi plug-in hybrid. While the car itself was fine and we didn’t experience any technical issues, the very small fuel tank of the plug-in hybrid was inconvenient for an Iceland road trip. We had to refuel very frequently, which disrupted our travel pla... Leia maisns. Another unusual point was that we received the car with 3/4 of a fuel tank and were asked to return it at the same level. This was the first time we encountered such a policy and it made fuel planning a bit stressful. Other than these points, everything went smoothly and we did not have any major problems during the rental."
