Outstanding!

We ended up with a Mazda 2 - and it was PERFECT. I took us all over your stunning county. WIthout any questions it was the holiday of a lifetime, and the car was a big part of it.

Good fuel consumption, about 4.6ltr/100km, great range. All communication and voichers were with Go Iceland but the car actually, unbeknowst to the client, was from ACE rental, this you only learn when you return the car at the GO Iceland office and find out that it has to be brought back to ACE rental which is a few kilometers aways. There is a little sticker on the car key holder. The car had some dents but all documented well. The pick-up time from the airport was almost one hour so factor this in for the travel planning.

I loved the car, it was great, had Apple car play, cruise control, heated seats and steering wheel, and it was very easy to drive.

Picking up the car rental went smoothly. Unfortunately, the Dacia Duster, which, according to the booking, was supposed to be a 2023 model, was apparently not available. Despite having taken out fully comprehensive insurance, we got a pretty old and dented car. The uphill drive was quite difficult. The additional WiFi also seemed to have an old battery and had to be constantly charged. The navigation system was also outdated. We have never seen any other car in such a bad condition on the whole tour.

We dealt with a young lady when returning the car. She is a real asset to the business. Some of the other team lack basic customer service skills and are surly to deal with. The office design is also lacking and negatively impacting client confidence.
