Nos dio la sensación que al no dar alternativas para resolver la diferencia de interpretación, aprovechan el nerviosismo del pasajero para sacar un dinero extra. Fue un verdadero estrés de final de viaje. Lamentablemente este acontecimiento desdibujó todo el encanto de Islandia."

"The car was a bit worn for a 2023 model, but except for a few misfires with cold engine, is was fine. It drives well, and the camper outfit is clever. Beds are really hard though. Staff at the reception was very unfriendly, waiting time was 1.5 hours, complete staff took breaks without any explanation, leaving customers guessing what they were wa... Mehr erfahreniting for. We left our own car in the parking lot. There was staff walking around so it seemed fine. At pickup they told us that they were about to tow it away, as it had been parked in the wrong spot. Be careful with go campers and practice your patience!"

"I went on a quick trip to Iceland (3 full days) with my fiancé and this was by far the best decision we made. Thanks to the flexibility of being able to camp wherever, we were not tied down to any location and were able to adjust our itinerary based on how we were feeling and what we wanted to see. During our last night we noticed clear skies and g... Mehr erfahrenreat weather so instead of driving back to the capital (which we would have done with a hotel), we stayed where we were and thanks to this flexibility we were able to see the northern lights! In addition to this, the sleeping conditions inside the van overnight are very reasonable, and the refrigerator and stove were perfect for what we needed. Finally, prior to departing with the van we gave the employee our rough itinerary and based on that they were given some amazing recommendations on where to stay. These campsites provided warm showers, toilets and access to food for dinner. If you are concerned about size, don't be - our van was more than enough for 2 average sized adults. Iceland is a place for adventure and this rental was the perfect way of accomplishing just that."

"The VW California was new and nice. Overall it worked Well, but could be improved - see below. It was a Beach model, which means that the kitchen is outside. When its windy (it is often in Iceland) it is almost impossible to Cook on the stove. A Wind shield or something like that could help. The stove was dirty when we had the car. We used kitche... Mehr erfahrenns on campsites frequently, but ran out of gas the last night. We had asked about this in advance, and was told that the 5 liter gas bottle was full. It obviusly was almost empty. Kitchen equipment was extremely sparse. We had no Sharp knife, no spoon for the cooking. We missed a broom. We rented duvet package. I would suggest some better duvets as Well as some nicer duvet covers."
