Thanks to the flexibility of being able to camp wherever, we were not tied down to any location and were able to adjust our itinerary based on how we were feeling and what we wanted to see. In addition to this, the sleeping conditions inside the van overnight are very reasonable, and the refrigerator and stove were perfect for what we needed. Finally, prior to departing with the van we gave the employee our rough itinerary and based on that they were given some amazing recommendations on where to stay. These campsites provided warm showers, toilets and access to food for dinner. If you are concerned about size, don't be - our van was more than enough for 2 average sized adults. Iceland is a place for adventure and this rental was the perfect way of accomplishing just that."

"The VW California was new and nice. Overall it worked Well, but could be improved - see below. It was a Beach model, which means that the kitchen is outside. When its windy (it is often in Iceland) it is almost impossible to Cook on the stove. A Wind shield or something like that could help. The stove was dirty when we had the car. We used kitche... Kitchen equipment was extremely sparse. We had no Sharp knife, no spoon for the cooking. We missed a broom. We rented duvet package. I would suggest some better duvets as Well as some nicer duvet covers."

"Hello, I wanted to let you know that we’ve had several serious issues with the campervan we rented, and I believe it’s important to share this feedback clearly. First of all, my mother was missing a bottom sheet, and the duvet was dirty. She had to wash it herself. Secondly, we had problems with the heating. It never worked properly for my mo... But the most serious issue was the presence of fleas or mites in the van. We don’t know exactly what kind of infestation it was, but all of us — and especially the children — have been badly bitten. We’re covered in bites, and it’s extremely uncomfortable and concerning. In addition in Go Campers office they told us that the had to pay an extra amount for parkings and tunnels but we already paid most of them."

"Our camper van was perfect for two of us. We got to the three person size and had plenty of room to put our gear. Having the heater was definitely appreciated at night. We also really appreciated the sink with running water. Even though we washed our dishes at campground, we like having running water as needed. The van drove smooth and had good pic...
