Outstanding!

The whole process was smooth. Jon met us at the airport at our arrival time (super early!), got us situated, and helped us plug in our first destination. He even good naturedly put up with our jetlagged, punch drunk jokes. We had no issues with the car, dropped it off in the lot as requested. Would use again!

Outstanding!

The rental car was a smooth ride - it was clean and in good condition. During the pick-up we were greeted by the Go Car employee at the airport right on time as intended. Would recommend this service to a friend.

Outstanding!

We rented a Subaru Forester 4x4 but were given a Mitsubishi Outlander 4x4 instead. Nonetheless the performance of the car was in good condition. Collection of car and returning of car was a breeze. The staff who attended to us was thorough and answered to all our queries. Great experience!

Outstanding!

My experience with GO Car Rental was excellent. The Subaru Forester 4x4 was exactly what I had reserved through Northbound and it was clean and performed very well as we toured the Ring Road during eight days. The GO Car Rental representative was professional and friendly. I highly recommend Northbound/GO Car Rental. Also, the information booklet which Northbound allowed me to download contained lots of great information for tourists.

Outstanding!

This was the perfect vehicle for our trip! We were looking for value but also wanted a newer vehicle since we knew things like power steering and GPS would be important. We were a group of 6 girls and didn't have any problems at all loading the vehicle or driving throughout Iceland! We made several modifications to our booking before our arrival, and the staff at Northbound were extremely helpful and accommodating. The people from GO Car were very helpful as well. If I hear of anyone planning a trip to Iceland I'm recommending Northbound for sure!

Good

Not bad, just a few minor things: the car could have been a bit cleaner; it needed maintenance as was shown on the instruments; there were scuffs and dents on the car and the windscreen that weren't mentioned in the rental agreement and could not be seen in the dark when I picked the car up. I hope I will not be made responsible for the existing damages afterwards. Other than this, it was a pretty straight forward experience without any major problems. The rental agent was a little late, but texted me shortly afterwards to let me know he was on the way, which was good to know.
