"Dear BlackSheepCampers Team, I would like to begin by acknowledging that the vehicle itself performed well throughout the trip. The 4x4 capability was reliable, fuel consumption was efficient, and mechanically the camper functioned properly during my travels across Iceland. Unfortunately, the actual camper accommodation experience was considerably below what I believe can reasonably be expected for travel in Icelandic conditions, particularly in the north of the country where temperatures were below freezing. When booking the vehicle, I fully understood that this was not intended to be a luxury or premium camper experience, and I had no such expectations. However, I do believe there is an important distinction between “basic” accommodation and equipment that becomes genuinely inadequate for resting and sleeping under the environmental conditions in which these vehicles are specifically marketed and rented. The primary issues were the following: A mattress of extremely poor quality, uncomfortable enough to make proper rest difficult. Bedding that felt insufficient and inadequate for the temperatures encountered. Most significantly, a heater that was both excessively noisy and surprisingly ineffective during freezing nights. The situation became particularly problematic after arriving in Varmahlíð under sub-zero conditions. Despite sleeping fully dressed and attempting to adapt to the circumstances, obtaining reasonable rest inside the camper became extremely difficult due to the combination of inadequate thermal comfort, poor bedding, and constant heater noise. Eventually, I found myself no longer using the camper as accommodation and instead paying for hostel stays during part of the trip simply in order to rest properly. This generated additional and entirely unanticipated expenses that substantially altered the overall cost of the journey. To be clear, this is not a complaint based on unmet luxury expectations. My concern is that the accommodation component of the camper did not provide what I consider a minimum reasonable standard of comfort and habitability for Icelandic spring conditions, particularly in colder northern areas where such equipment becomes essential rather than optional. For this reason, I believe a partial reimbursement or some form of compensation would be appropriate in light of the additional accommodation expenses I was forced to incur during the trip. I am reaching out directly in good faith first, in the hope that this matter can be resolved reasonably and amicably."

"Overall very good I just made the experience that camping in back of small car is that I would prefer as accomodation. My own mistake 😉 Except that: could not find the car immediately. Car was showing many warnung lights at the beginning."

"General experience was great. But you really have to read alot to know what is included or not in winter time. I would make your website clearer to understand so customers dont know in the end if they missed something after they already booked it. Other than that the customer support was great and the car it self was also good."

The vehicle was clean inside but not on the outside. It took us half an hour to find it. We were instructed that the vehicle was parked to the left of the bus station but in fact it was parked across the road and it was only the fact that the photo showed a house and a lampost that I found it. In future I would let the renter have the keybox code maybe printed on the front of the voucher as it was lucky that I had enough data to download the email with all the photos and rental agreement details which only comes a few hours before the rental starts. "Buona macchina, se non per la paura della spia per le gomme, il ritrovo non è stato segnalato a dovere, ma girando un po' abbiamo trovato l auto senza problemi, guidabilità buona e senza intoppi, 4x4 sempre attivo e performante, essendo un auto del 2022,credevo avesse il GPS integrato, ma abbiamo utilizzato le mappe sul telefono, nel complesso macchina buona e affidabile per questo tipo di vacanza."
