"Staff was great , easy check in and drop off. My only dislike was I didn’t know exactly what camper layout I was getting until I picked up the camper. I asked several times to get the full size bed in the rear of camper instead of bunk beds and was told they had no way of knowing which one I would get. We did end up getting what we wanted but would have been better for me to prepare."

"Overall I liked it! I chose this motorhome because of the discount so I cannot complain too much. The only thing I had issue with was not working parking brake which is very important for a vehicle with a manual transmission. The layout of the motorhome was pretty good and was our comfortable home for 8 nights. I was pleasantly surprised by a very low fuel consumption - averaging only 8.2l/100km over 2250km which I think was pretty good considering the size of the vehicle. Fuel is extremely expensive on Iceland. In my opinion, renting a motorhome is one of the best ways to explore Iceland. It allowed us to have a flexible itinerary."

"As it is 2018 model, some features were broken(fridge didn't work with propane, broken cabinet) and a car problem along the way, which is normal for a car without proper maintenance and driving in Iceland. We had spent 3hrs at the car repair shop just to qualify for a replacement, wish it didn't happen but the service attention was great."

"The Jeep we got was great the tent was easy to set up. The customer service was amazing from pick up to drop off. I would recommend these guys to all my friends and family. They will take care of everything you need."

Only complaint was pick up from airport, tried calling office when we arrived at airport & could not get anyone on the phone. Had someone from airport assist us in calling as well with no answer. Had the email voucher been more specific stating that Geysir would be the company to pick us up would have have been helpful. Ended up getting a taxi after an hour of trying to contact someone to pick us up."

"In short, I’m sorry to report that I am quite UNHAPPY with my experience with Geysir/Motorhome – in Reykjavik. First, their hours of operation are far too limited to accommodate folks arriving and leaving from KEF. This causes considerable complication for the customer. More critically, when I tried to call them with information that I was having a medical emergency, and thus needed to cut our trip short and return the vehicle early, I was unable to get through by phone (despite successfully getting through to hotels and others in Reykjavik on my phone, thus confirming that the problem was not my phone or my dialing). I then texted them, and got only a response that they were aware that I’d text them, and would get back to me. Which they did not do. I managed to drive back the next day, at which point I received a text from them – literally as I was driving up to their place. Finally, I have been charged for the entire 10 day period, despite returning the vehicle after only 3 days. I find this service unacceptable, and frankly, think I should be refunded for the 7 days not used. Of lesser importance, the vehicle was OK, had what was advertised. However, much of it seemed cheaply put together….it seemed as though if one pushed just a bit too hard on a drawer or door it would simply break. The main door to the van part malfunctioned after the 2nd day, making it impossible to open from the inside. The table inside was so flimsy that even a gentle tap on it made it fall over. I also find it strange that one has to pay extra for kitchen utensils…"
