Capable mid sized SUV, no problems at all

The rental with the Go Iceland was nice, the car was in good condition and the procedure was fast and spot on.

Ich werde das nächste Mal auch wieder über Northbound buchen. Es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Sowohl vor der Reise als auch danach. Wir hatten einen Dacia Jogger. Nicht das beste Auto für Island aber für eine Reisegruppe von 6 Personen mehr als ausreichend. Der Fahrcomfort für die letzte Reihe ist eher mäßig. Dies sollte man bei Gravelpisten beachten. Die All-in-One Versicherung ist super und der WLAN Router ist auch gut zu haben. Immer wieder gerne!

The car was a perfect choice for what I did (the whole circle) with a visit to the highlands. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quiality of the car . Everything worked well. I did almost 3000 km and I had trully 0 issues.

We rented the car for 9 days and we were extremely pleased with the car and with Go Iceland. Everything went smooth with the rental, the guys were very helpful and friendly. The car was in a good shape (the tires were a bit worn up but in the summer just perfect) we did a few F-roads as well with river crossing without any issues.

The car was in great shape and ran well, and the staff were quick to transparently identify the scratches and dents. I would have liked a friendlier airport shuttle van driver, who was hurriedly rushing passengers into his van. I would also like your company to consider exceptions to the 48-hour modification/cancellation policy due to unforeseen circumstances or reasons out of the renter's control. My flight to Iceland was cancelled at the last minute and because of that I was unable to pick up the car on time, losing one day of car rental. I was also denied extending the car rental by one day to compensate for the lost day. However, I will say that the staff in the car rental office were friendly and able to do their jobs well. A few more staff at the desks would help during high volume times.

Hi Ivar, every thing went perfect with the car. We did not have any issue regarding the car. The only thing i should have to mention is that we arrived at 02:00 am and we had to wait 25 minutes to arrive the transport to bring us to the car company site. I was travelling with my wife and two kids, and the driver not even apollogizing for the delay, he did not help me to picking up into the car the baggage nor with the kid seats. I know it is not his work, but it was the detail in the situation. Opened the door and let me there inserting the baggage by my own. The second driver ( when going back to the airport, was very kind with us and helped with everything). At the begining the car smelled a little bit strange, somehow smell of tabaco, and as we don't smoke, we didn't like it, but it went soon. It wasn't an issue in all the week long. The car behave well all the week, and there was no issue, as we drove through the ring road. The wifi didn't work very well in some areas but we understand it is normal in the remote points of iceland. So no worries about that as we used our mobile phone's data in those cases. We would repeat with northbound.

Very easy to book and complete rental. Car was in great condition. Staff was polite and helpful.

We had a great experience with the 2018 Dacia Duster from Go Iceland. The team was very nice and our car more than reliable. It served out purpose of discovering Iceland by car perfectly well. Many thanks!
