Vigur

The second largest island in the Ísafjörður area.

Vigur is 2km long, roughly 400m wide, and one of the largest hatching grounds of the Common Eider found in Iceland. The Eider is not the only bird that frequents the island as during summer over 80 thousand Puffins make their way to the island at one point or another.
