Good

My experience was fine. Although we had a problem that the Key car rental company didn't accept to resolve or give us a proposal. We had booked a car that was with diesel fuel and the company gave me a gasoline fuel car. After I reached out to them they told me that the booking was through your site and there wasn't any details about the fuel type, although I specifically booked a diesel car. They send you an email that they added me as CC but there where no answer from your side.

Very Good

Northbound website is excellent, but key rental page, where you need to do online check in is not that great. First of all, it does not work on mobile devices. Secondly, I had problem that extra driver (that is on northbound gratis with full insurance) was not selected and was paid. So I needed to call key car rental during the workhour to solve this issue. Also key car rental customer support especially via email is extremely slow.

Fantastic!

I liked the car. The only thing I did not like was that being a hibrid plugin car the oprion of recharging it was not given to us. Indeed we used it as a gasoliine and the consumption was quite high.

Excellent

I opted for a slightly older model because of the lower price. The Duster had already travelled around 180000 km. On the whole, it was in a decent condition for its age. The only defect was unevenly inflated tyres. On the right side the tyres had a higher pressure than recommended by the manufacturer and on the left side less than recommended. The support from Key Car Rental was good. Communication via whats app was quick and competent.

Outstanding!

The 2031 KGM Tivoli was so spacious! You could easily fit a 4 person family with all their luggage. The heating was definitely incredible on those colder Iceland days. We have no issues driving around in this car and could get to all the destinations we wanted very easily. Getting in contact before arrival was very easy, and the pick up and drop off after hours was so simple. Would definitely hire through Northbound again!

Good

Everything went well, but I strongly recommend winter tires instead of all-season ones. Also, the remaining tread depth was at the limit, and I felt unsafe during a heavy snowfall.
