It was smaller than we anticipated, but overall it was clean and well maintained.

The Suzuki Jimny was the perfect vehicle for our trip in Iceland. From the streets in Reykjavik and Keflavik, to the open roads on the Golden Circle and down to Jokulsarlon, the Jimny never put a foot wrong and was enjoyable to drive.

Excellent service and fast in delivery of the vehicle and more the explanation regarding the roads conditions. Then when we picked the Renegade we noticed it was small for us and I requested some thing bigger and luckily I was handed with a Toyota Freelander 7 seater big enough for us. This car was perfect for our trip. There were two of us traveling and it easily fit our two suit cases, two duffel bags, and two backpacks for an end of winter trip. It was very easy to drive and we had no issues with it at all. The fuel economy was excellent! We spent less than 35000 isk for diesel for the entire 8 days and trip around the ring road, plus some side trips.

La verdad que tienen un servicio muy completo. El trato que recibimos por parte del equipo fue muy bueno. Salen furgonetas constantemente del aeropuerto al centro de Lotus. Mi pareja y yo volveremos en otra época del año para hacerlo en furgoneta Camper y si tienen disponibles lo cogeremos con ellos sin duda. Lo recomendamos 100x100!!

Rental from Lotus was very easy, they picked us up from the airport and dropped us off and we were able to pick the car up with no hassle. Lotus customer service was also excellent.

I was pleased with the price AND performance of the car; I took care of it and it got me in and out of Isafjordur during 2 separate blizzards. At the return, the Lotus representative inspected the car, found everything good and shuttled me to the terminal very soon after. Quality car, people and deal. A few issues. Passenger side window was only workable from drivers door, annoying and dangerous at times given road conditions and concentration. Also the discount fob for N1 only worked once, and even at that the discount was pathetic, every other gas station was 25kr cheaper per litre even after the discount. Other than that the pickup was good.

Great experience with this company. Friendly service at pickup and even at 5 am drop off. Would highly recommend. The only thing is if you get Wi-Fi , make sure to check how to use it before leaving the lot , it was more than likely user error on our behalf that we couldn’t get it working though.

Pick up and drop off went very smoothly and took next to no time at all. Car ran well and got us through some of the snowy weather we experienced driving the ring road in the middle of February. I would highly recommend renting from Lotus Car via northbound. Will rent again when we return in the summer someday!

I really wanted To try out the car for the future. And I loved the driving. The only downside was the Not so bright headlights.

The car was perfect to accommodate a group of 6 in harsh Icelandic winter conditions. It drove really well, had ice spikes in tyres (very useful on icy roads). However, it had a dent (size of a human palm) in the rear bumper from a previous crash. I’ve never received a damaged vehicle in a car rental for full price. Fortunately, no impact on security or driving. Service staff on site was really nice, helpful with tips and the driver who took us to and from the airport was very nice as well.

Thank you for everything. The car was perfect for us for two people. The staff were helpful. Only one thing we recommend you: 1. Please ove the partition (separator) grid further back to make more space for some things (for example jackets, ski caps, gloves etc.) I think will be enough place for the luggages, but the driver can take off the coat and no need to get out of the car without a jacket in the wind in the rain or snow.
