Outstanding!

This is the second time we've rented from Northbound and found the experience exceptional in every way. We were well greeted and outfitted for our adventure to the Westfjords. Hope to make a return trip in the next couple of years and will use Northbound again for our transportation needs.

Incredibly rude people working for Rent.is who are responsible for filling the Orders under Northbound. At the airport the shuttle driver refused to give me a ride to the office because he said I was “too early” even though there were open spots in the shuttle. So I walked all the way to the rental office, and the shuttle driver was very upset that I showed up early. There were a few helpful people and one allowed my to store my stuff while I walked around Keflavík. Later in the afternoon after we got the camper, we found out that it had not been stocked with the correct items like dishes and stove. Northbound customer support was helpful in fixing this. All in all the camper van was as expected and the trip to Iceland was great, but the rent.is people were the most rude I’ve encountered in all of Iceland.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend renting from here. The van was dirty when we picked it up and clearly had not been cleaned (dirt, debris, etc) and there was leftover garbage and food left in the van from the previous renter which we had to clean out. We were excited to get on the road when we first arrived and didn't fully realize the condition of the van until later on or we would've said something to the staff at pick up. We also rented a gas stove as an add on to our rental which did not work. We ended up eating sandwiches and trying to go to campsites with good kitchen facilities for the duration of our rental but it obviously really affected what we could cook. The van worked well and was comfortable for the week that we rented it, but overall I was disappointed in the services and would not rent from here again.

I loved the versatility of the Hilux which allowed me to explore areas that I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing in other vehicles.

Esperienza di noleggio più che positiva, il mezzo utilizzato è stato un Fiat Doblo Maxi molto ben equipaggiato, ho usufruito dell’assicurazione totale offerta da Northbound con Rental Cover ad un prezzo molto più vantaggioso di quanto offerto dal noleggiatore Rent.is. Assolutamente consigliati, veloci precisi e pronti a rispondere a qualsiasi dubbio

Outstanding!

The van was working perfectly; the only thing that we would change is that the door of my partner was not working properly but the truth is that it doesn't affect the jorney in any sense. The staff and the service was so good and we feel all the time very well with you.
