"The Renault Trafic was a sweet Campervan to explore Iceland with. Minimalist and easy to drive, it fit our needs nicely for this trip. Only reason for the okay condition rating was because this van came with some big dents, nothing that affected performance- just aesthetics and it made me wonder what caused them."

"The car itself was good, however, the pick-up process was unnecessarily tedious. When we arrived at Rent.is to collect the car, we were initially provided with a Renault Express, despite having booked a guaranteed model (a Fiat Doblo Maxi). The staff maintained that the “guaranteed model” referred only to a category (including Renault Express, Kang... Lees meeruroo, and Doblo Maxi). Aften much back and forth, we therefore agreed that I would contact support the following day, as they were only able to offer a Renault Express at that time. However, just as we were about to leave the parking lot, we were given new keys to a Fiat Doblo Maxi. While this outcome was appreciated, the time spent going back and forth during the process was frustrating and unsatisfactory. Our understanding is that this miscommunication arises from differing interpretations of the term “guaranteed model.” Northbound appears to apply one interpretation, whereas rent.is applies another when bookings are made directly through them. This discrepancy was unfortunately to our disadvantage in this instance."

"Staff was very friendly and competent and helpful. Movie on car functions was very helpful. Car was in perfect condition. (Except: light for tyre pression was on. I checked the tyre pressure. It was ok.) (Maintenance light came on once. Was a little in panic because it was the brake light that showed. Staff immediately explained it to me. :)....
