This campsite is located in the stunning Whale fjord.

Bjarteyjarsandur is an ideal campsite for hikers, bikers and families, located in Hvalfjörður or Whalefjord, only 40 minutes' drive from Reykjavik. The atmosphere is relaxed and a hike to the shore is recommended in the evening sun or the morning breeze (rumors are that you can request access to the owners hot pot). Sleeping bag accommodations are also available in Bjarteyjarsandur.
This is a family-friendly campsite, so respect is required.
