31 metres tall, Reykjanesviti is Iceland's oldest lighthouse, situated on the southwestern edge of the Reykjanes peninsula.
The lighthouse was originally built in 1878 but during an earthquake, 8 years later, the structure was destroyed but in 1929 it was illuminated once again.
