Upon arrival we got a Mazda CX5, which is a similar car to the Hyundai Tucson. We did had some issues with the car. Service was due so we had a service warning light on all the time. We also had to replace the battery in the car key as it on the second day warned for low battery. The GPS needed an upgrade as several roads were wrongly displayed. We did send 2 emails at different times about issues, including one for a crack in the windshield we got during a trip. We had to wait between 12-24 hours for answers on those mails. On the positive note was the pick up and return of the car which was very quick, friendly and effective. We also got free mobile internet which was a great addition. At the end, it took us around to many wonderful places which we are very happy about. If we will be back in the future, we will rent again from you as we were overall satisfied.

The Dacia Jogger I rented from GoIceland had three issues: 1. The tires were nearly bald, resulting in hydroplaning and loss of traction at speeds of 60-70 kph. 2. The roof luggage carrier was broken when I rented the car, resulting in it popping open when I was driving against strong headwinds. The fellow inspecting the car at the time of rental said, "This sheet says the luggage carrier is broken. It's not broken, it just cracked. I'm changing this in the system" 3. The message, "battery low, start engine" would appear at random times. Starting the engine caused the message "battery charging" to appear, but the battery low message would come back if the engine was shut off.

The car had some damages, you couldn"t open the fueltank and it make some special noises

Our family of 5 members liked the Mazda very much for exploring Iceland despite of bumps and schratches on the car. Easy pickup at the airport to the nearby rental office - and easy transportation to the airport without waiting time.

I was given a Dacia Duster which I think may have been a downgrade, but we managed the trip without trouble anyway.

cette voiture avait beaucoup de kilomètres au compteur et avait beaucoup de problèmes de carrosserie ( bosses , scratchs et rayures ). Elle avait donc un certain âge , mais cela m'a aidé à affronter les routes d'ISLANDE ( pistes avec gravillons par exemple ). J'ai aussi signalé à mon retour , l'usure des pneus ( bons à changer , surtout à l'avant ) et le frein à main qui doit être réglé. Mais cette voiture a été très économique ( 5 litre/100kms ) ce qui s'est avéré utile au vu des 3500 kms que j'ai parcourus.

The car felt reliable and provided comfortable driving all around with 4 people and 4 large luggage (one in the back seat).

The car was perfect. We drove almost 3500km for 10 days with it and it did fine. It had a minor scratches when we took it and everything was written prior in the rental agreement. So we had no issues.

Hello, our rental went very well, the car was new and perfectly in line with our trip around Iceland. As an improvement, I would suggest you to informe your customer that the deposit is significant and may block the credit card paiement, as happened in our case. Anyway, we been able to solve the issue by increasing our credit card limit using WiFi at your pickup area.
