レンタカー Icelandでは

We had some problems with the first Dacia, they change and they gave us another Dacia Duster. There were some minor problems on the new one but it makes its job. The big problem was the day we return the car. We wait for the shuttle to bring us back to the airport for one hour and 15 minutes. We succeed in checking in our luggage for only 6 minutes! I gettata very upset because they decide to bring us at the airport only when I start to protest very hard.

Overall I was very disappointed in my rental for Iceland. I read a good review with a small discount by booking through Northbound/Ring. Took approximately an hour to get a ride from the airport to Ring. After the lengthy paperwork, waited for my vehicle to be fueled. My vehicle had nearly 100,000km, broken mirror, worn tires, non-latching gas tank, and numerous dents and physical appearance damage. Based on what I saw, I felt the need to take out maximum insurance because I was worried I would be blamed for some of this. When I got in the car, warning light was on for "fill tyres and callibrate". Was told to not worry about that. Numerous other warnings repeatedly came on - "check vehicle", "check stop and start", "replace gas cap', and the most worrysome was "electrical system malfunction, please shut off vehicle". I told Ring about this and was told this happens sometimes. As for the drive of the vehicle, with better tires, would have been okay. I would never purchase a Dacia or rent one again if the opportunity arose. Perhaps better customer service would have made the problems with the car better tolerated, but the staff really didn't seem to care. Unfortunately I will not be recommending Ring to my family and friends

I was given a Dacia Duster which I think may have been a downgrade, but we managed the trip without trouble anyway.

Everthing was OK. The car was changed in a Mitsubishi Cross Eclipse. Good shuttle between Lava and the airport.

The car and roof top tent were fine. Improvements: it would have been nice to have a demonstration or instruction on setting up the roof top tent. Disappointments: We booked a Dacia Duster with a 4 person roof top tent sleeping arrangement. We received a 2 persons roof top tent and a tent due to damage on previous rental. This was an inconvenience and discomfort throughout the rental period.

Had a really good experience with this car rental company. They had a good price for an F-Road rated vehicle, delivered and picked up the vehicle to where we were staying and it is a family-run, locally owned company. No messing around, just straight forward service, provided instruction on using the 4WD, provided usb charging plug-ins and a phone holder. Decent little car at a good price and solid customer service.

Our car was amazing. Clean, efficient and super capable on F-roads. A little thirsty but great value all round.

The car great, konvin as company? Will never rent from them again. Is a one person office who does everything including driving the shuttle.
