"We did not receive the vehicle we had initially reserved. We ended up with a SFAR, which was okay. There was no shuttle available for us, nor was any shuttle available upon call. Customer service was not available upon call. We waited at the airport for 2 hours for other travellers to pick us up and take us to our rental, which then resulted in us extending our rental for the drop off day, which we nearly were charged for, until Michael assisted us. Micheal was wonderful upon our return, enterprise Micheal was awesome. Will probably not rent from Northbound again and would just rent directly with available companies at the Airport. Pick up experience was terrible and no flexibility for delayed or cancelled flights beyond our control."

"Everything was OK. The car had no issues at all. We drove a total of 2,650 km. The drop-off at the airport was exactly at the agreed time, and the process was very simple. The price was very reasonable for Icelandic standards."

"Overall very good. Thanks There were a couple of things to mention. There were no coffee cups or storage containers supplied(we purchased some and left them in the van) The kitchen knife was very blunt. A vehicle with apple car play/android auto or a nav unit would be a great addition for tourists."
"I must admit that the car was older than the specs I paid for. We got a Dacia Duster from late 2010s (mk2, but not 2022 released model, as these come with the new Dacia batch, different rear lights, etc etc). I couldn't do much to change it because key car rental leaves the car with the keys at the airport when arriving out of office ours. The hinge of the driver's door was quite rusty, which I think is unfair as damages due to wind are not covered and doors suffer a lot from Icelandic wind. Thus I had to be extra careful opening the door, even with no wind. Lack of android auto for a car supposed to be from 2022 is also funny, but maybe that's what I got from what I paid."

"Hello, everything was absolutely fine. I really liked that we didn't have to wait for the car anywhere and it was ready for us right at the airport. The only thing I would mention as a downside was returning the car; our reservation stated we will return it at 8:00 AM, but the service only operates from 9:00 AM, so we couldn't reach anyone by phone. However, we managed to resolve this minor issue without any problems, so I definitely wouldn't consider it a major negative.""

"Great car for two with small amounts of luggage. Driver met us at airport and walked us to the shuttle. Very friendly. No hidden costs, get the full insurance and there will be no worries. Loved the wifi option and car play. Nice coffee bar in pick up/drop off location. Our experience was fantastic."
"The best way to see Iceland! We’re glad to have made the decision to get a vehicle with a pop-up tent and a vehicle that handle the road conditions and weathering Iceland has to throw. The tent was cozy and warm even with the rain and wind (45mph). It also has a memory foam mattress that helped us get a good night sleep after exploring. The customer support was top-notch! We had a check engine light come our 2nd day and she walked us through on what to do with it. The pick-up and drop-off was smooth. I will be renting here again on our next trip, it’s totally worth the price."
"I am Franco, the person who rented and paid for the van; Roberto is the name of the first driver. We received the van with over 150,000 km on the odometer, and several cracks on the windshield (we have numerous photos to prove it). Due to the time we arrived in Keflavik (when the Key Car Rental offices were closed) and the late arrival time at our apartments, we were forced to use it this way (we had apartments in different locations each day), but this put us in danger. Luckily, we didn't encounter strong winds. Furthermore, the van was delivered in the parking of a hotel near the airport (Hotel Aurora) with the keys in the glove box and no way to speak to a representative from the rental agency, so we had to keep a damaged vehicle, risking both ourselves and the risk of fines if stopped by the police. I've rented several cars in different countries but i have never had an experience like this. Otherwise, the van was clean and in good condition and drove very well."
"GO was great, the X-Trail was ridiculous - 7 seater? 2 adults and 2 kids comfortably, otherwise not enough room. Thankfully GO was very accommodating when we upgraded to a 9-seater van for the 6 of us! Easy check in, easy check out but can get busy so careful of leaving time to return your ride before your flight!"

"Everything went pretty smoothly, so overall it was very good. However, there are few things to mention - we got a plug-in hybrid version of the car which we didn’t reserve, without any additional information (as there were almost no easily-accessible chargers, we were not able to properly make use of it) and with an icon informing about a service check that should have been done (was there during the whole rental period, which was a bit annoying). Furthermore, I was not able to download the Orkan discount card after the rental period started (I remember the possibility to download it before that). Last but not least, when we returned the car, the worker informed us about a damage to the windshield which we didn’t notice, but as he informed me that it is covered by the full protection insurance and no additional fees will arise, I agreed to sign the forms."
