Great service! Location was hard to find when I had to drop off the car. I recommend that you place signs to help customers navigate towards your location.
Overall was really great. If I need to add more comments, I'd say you need to add more signs on the road so that people can find your place easier.

The service Lagoon Car Rental provided was excellent and there were no issues with the car. Hopefully when they finish construction they will put signs up so it is easier to find their office when returning the car.

Hiring Subaru Forester was a great choice, very good car, easy drop off and transfer service and a cool price.
The drivers from the pick up and drop off at the airport where very friendly, but the people within the rental office not. They where definately not rude, but could not smile or be friendly. We eventually got a Dacia Duster, since the Jimny wasn't available. But instead of asking if this was okay for us, the man just gave us the key and that's it. When we brought the car back, the man at the office didn't even say 'hi' or anything else. The only thing he said was 'you got the yellow paper?'. It seemed like he really hated his job. Everything went very correct and they have low prices, which is why I'd probably rent with them again next time.
Instead of Renault Kadjar I received Nissan Qashqai II. Same class, but a bit disappointment, because I wanted to test exactly Kadjar. No problems with received car- clean and all worked properly. Would be nice to have GPS maps inside the car (it was without original chip, so not possible to use car maps).

At the last day, when I returned the car back, they brought me back to the Hotel in Keflavik with no extra cost! EXCELLENT
I can surely recommend Lagoon Car Rental as quality is worth its price.
Very friendly and open staff, who gave us usufull tips about not so obvious places to see and check. We were travelling with child and another couple and I think to get optimum comfort, you should not consider taking more then 2 adults in back seats.
There were ups and downs with our experience with Lagoon Car Rental. First the pickup at the airport did not go as smoothly as expected. There was no-one meeting us at arrivals, we waited about 20 minutes before seeing a Lagoon employer but then because the shuttle can only carry 8 passengers we had to wait for the next trip another 30 minutes. Once at the office, the process was a bit slow as we had to wait in line. Then there were no more Foresters available. I was " upgraded" to a Kia Sedona. I discovered over the next couple of days that one of the tires had a slow leak as I found that I had to put air in it each morning. I called Lagoon and they directed me to a tire shop for repair which worked out just fine. Returning the car was a bit of an adventure as the office has no signage. Then again because the van only carries 8 we had to wait for the next trip, which wasn't a problem for us as we anticipated this likelyhood...
It was good until we returned the car with a small dint in the door, which was not caused by us.
They wanted to take €3500 from our credit card . This seemed excessive for the damage done. In the end they took €2000 even though they said it would probably be about 800. We were advised that they would find out the cost that day and refund the money. A week later we hadn’t heard anything so we had to contact them they still didn’t know how much it would be. We have now been told that money has been refunded but it did take longer than they advised us, almost 3 weeks.
The car ran fine but we found the deductible on the insurance coverage to be extremely high! Also, the building was very difficult to locate when we had to return the vehicle.
Words cannot explain how professional and courteous this rental company is. Prior to my arrival in Iceland I had several questions and they were adressed in quick manner, it made me feel assured that I was in good hands. On my way to Iceland my flight was delayed due to inclement weather, I was concerned because I knew that arrangements had been set in place so that a lagoon representative would be waiting for us to transport us to the main office, but once we arrived at KEF airport I contacted their office and a representative was onsite to pick us up within 10 minutes. We were greeted at the office by very gregarious representative who offered some last minutes tips with regards to driving in Iceland that I found extremely valuable due to the volitility of Icelandic weather and because our intiniary involved driving the entire ring road. I mentioned that I would be driving in the westfjords (alot of unpaved roads and loose gravel) and they strongly suggested that I upgrade my insurance policy to include gravel protection...
Excellent. The car was good quality and in good shape. Service was very satisfying. Open 24 hours is very useful.

Our car wasn't ready when we were scheduled to pick it up, but that might not have been the fault of Lagoon. They had sent the car to the garage to have winter tires put on (which turned out to be a wise choice) and it wasn't returned until an hour after our pick up time. Also, we don't have a gps and better directions for getting out of the city would have been appreciated.Other than that everything went smoothly, and we were pleased with the car. It was perfect for the two of us, in good shape, and the price was reasonable. We would use Northbound and Lagoon again.
It was pretty good. The only thing I would say is when we came out there was no one holding a sign and we ended up calling them and waiting a long time for them to pick us up. Also they gave us a Subaru Forrester and it would have been helpful to have someone show us how the car works, especially the mirrors and setting up our phone for music. The guy at the counter was not very friendly. The return of the car was much better. The person we dealt with was very friendly and we were dropped off at the airport without any delay.
