Hertz in Iceland

The car was great - though the pick up was not enjoyable as the car was difficult to locate in the dark and the wind was howling. Maybe worth designing a better set of instructions to locate. Drop off too could be improved - unclear as to exactly where to leave the vehicle which was confusing. Also I'd suggest letting the customer know how to charge a hybrid and maybe explain how to set up an account? With fuel so expensive in Iceland, the EV part of the car would have been really useful, but it was too difficult to figure out.

Renting process was seamless upon arrival at KEF airport. The FIAT Benivan was brand new! 900 km on the dashboard! Very nice vehicule with all equipment asked priorhand ready. Good fuel consumption given the windy conditions and size of the vehicule. I recommend.

Our group loved the Toyota Land Cruiser we rented. It was perfect for getting us through the highlands safely and around the rest of Iceland that we were able to visit during our stay!
