CampEasy in Iceland

Great vehicle for our needs (2 persons). There was an issue sometimes with the heating system, it didn't produce hot air, but cold. After turning it a couple of times off and on again, it seemed to work fine. Other than that everything was perfect.

In my experience CampEasy was the best choice we made, it really made camping easy :)). We were picked up and dropped off by their shuttle from/to the airport (which is included), in their office we were told every detail, also shown on short tutorials, so you know absolutely everything you'll need to know. They give you a tablet with internet, so you have gps all around the island. The car we chose was compact but equipped with all essentials. The only thing that needs improvement is the insulation. On some roads the dust enterd in the back of the car, and we had to let the engine run to properly heat up for the night (we blasted the AC for 20-30 min on high heat, before we went to sleep). Other than that everything was awesome, if i have to choose again, i would choose them without hesitation.

Awesome, unfortunately we didn't see nothern lights but the rest was just amazing.

Good morning. I want to say my opinion to help other tourists in future. When we pick up the van, it was a little dirty. Some lights didn't work as well. When we pick up the van I asked for "chains" for the tires (in Italy we use in winter). The answer was that in Iceland people use winter tires. So, it's not quite correct. We see all around Iceland cars, vans and also trucks and busses with "studded tires" or tires with nails. A company of rental without this, I think, want only that the costumer does damage to earn. Nothing else. You know that in winter in Iceland don't clean roads and there is much ice. For me, this isn't care of costumer, it's only take his money and don't think abous his safety. Iceland is a good place, but the idea that you have of the tourist, for me, it's wrong.

An excellent experience and would use again. The van was in excellent condition, both physically and in terms of cleanliness. It was excellent value for money and an ideal space for a few days exploring the south coast. We liked the seating arrangements in the back, the different lighting options, and the provision of many USB outlets. The van drove well with plenty of power. Our only gripes would be that we felt there was a little delay between us arriving and being given the keys to the van; we were sat waiting when we were itching to get going. Also, the heater in the van was "all or nothing" so we had to keep switching it on and off, getting hot and cold throughout the night. But overall we were very happy and would recommend, thank you.

Everything perfect with the camper and agency we chose, they helped us with the videos they have prepared to know perfectly the characteristics of the camper and tips about our visit in Iceland.

I drive a Tesla model 3 normally, so this was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Charging was relatively easy and everywhere. The Camp Mode worked well, as expected. Having the addition clearance (versus my car) was needed for some 4x4roads. The car handled well and was comfortable to tour in.

The campervan was great, very clean and tidy.
