Good

We was fully satisfied with our experience to rent a car from Northern Lights Car Rental company. The staff was absolutely friendly and help us with everything and they answered for all our questions. We have met a just a bit actually used car which has some traces of not very careful driving from previous renters. And the exterior of the car was quite worn). I even slightly regretted that we paid the maximum insurance so that no damage would be taken into account. Because it would be very difficult to find new damage among dozens of old ones)). But the car was generally in good working order and there were no technical problems.

Excellent

It was a great car for driving as we had snow and ice on the road. I was comfortable with the car as it was not in perfect condition and I was not afraid to drive it. The only problem we had was with the wi-fi box we rented would not hold the charge for even 30 minutes. We sent in a complaint by email.

Very Good

Very friendly service in Polish from the beginning. The guys gave some valuable advice on the specifics of driving in Iceland. Quick pick-up of the car. You can buy additional insurance on the spot. Which can sometimes be useful. The rental employee explained all the options very professionally. The car had rather high mileage, over 200,000 km, but it drove without a problem. The only thing that was annoying when driving into the sun was the windshield grained from a chip of gravel. No problem returning the car. Quick transfer by minibus to the airport.

All perfect!! Just when we arrived , we waited 45 / 50 minutes at the Airport terminal the shuttle. (Too Much??)

This was the perfect car for our trip. It got us everywhere we needed to go with no issues at all, even through some precarious roads. Having a slightly older car was also ideal for our trip, as we didn’t need to worry nearly as much about any minor dings that may happen on gravel roads. Will definitely rent through Northbound again for our next Iceland adventure!
