When it came to the vehicle itself, the quality and cleanliness exceeded our expectations—it was spotless and clearly well maintained. 💡 One tip: consider purchasing the extra insurance, especially if your credit card doesn't cover camper vans. We ended up with a chipped windshield and were incredibly grateful for their low deductible and the included windshield coverage. 💰 Overall, Northboud offers outstanding service at a fair price. It was a fantastic car for travelling around the island and the many f-roads

The rental was smooth, we had good customerservice and the car was perfect. We’ll come back next time for sure!

It wasn't a Subaru, but a Suzuki S-Cross instead. The car had different scratches and a chip on the front glass, but it behaved okay. Comparing with other rental SUVs on the way, it seemed "old". I can't compare with the Subaru because I never had it before. There was an issue when picking up the car: the company wanted to charge a deposit on the credit card, I had to show the conditions and the booking papers to avoid it. I didn't need to make use of the insurance, but its not clear whether in case of damage I should pay and be refunded, or the insurance would pay the rental company directly. Next time I wish a better integration between Icerental4x4 and Rentalcover.

Our family of 5 members liked the Mazda very much for exploring Iceland despite of bumps and schratches on the car. Easy pickup at the airport to the nearby rental office - and easy transportation to the airport without waiting time.

Ivar is very friendly and come pick you up at the airport at your arrival and drop you off when leaving. The car was 100% as advertised, so there were no unpleasant surprises upon arrival. I had a question about the car during the trip and Ivar was very responsive in answering via text message. You will have understood that I highly recommend!

Apart from late Pick-up upon arrival everything went smooth. The car had all the features I expected for driving in Iceland. Luggage space was sufficient for three travellers for at twelwe drive Road trip. Haning over of the car and shuttle to airport went smooth. All in all a good experience that I can recommend to others😊👍
