Granastaðir campsite is located in Borgarnes, close to main highway.
The Borgarnes camping ground, Granastaðir is located next to the main high way (route 1). The surrounding neighborhood contains grocery stores, restaurants, coffee houses, playgrounds, football field, golf course, swimming pool (great slides) and also a post office. This campsite is restricted to 20 years of age and older
The campsite offers all the necessary facilities and more! Hiking trails are all over and the area is ideal for birdwatching in the midnight sun.
