Northbound were recommended to us by Sigurour Oli Kolbeinsson. The service we received from ordering the car to collection and return was truly excellent. The Ring team we dealt with were really friendly and extremely helpful. The Dacia Duster was in excellent condition and was the perfect car for our trip. We would highly recommend Northbound / Ring and will be ordering from Northbound on our next trip to Iceland.

hello, car is ok for iceland, on all point of wiev, mechanic, diesel consumpion, comfort, space for bags. honestly it was a great surprise for me,its over our expectations. only i suggest to your team to give a fast check of car after a rent, our car had the convergence strongly to right, and to check pressure of tires second suggest is to update the navigator

We were very satisfied. We had enough space for 3 people. The car always got us where we needed to go, and if necessary, the reserve can be used, which is reassuring. We got a discount chip for gas stations and refreshments along the way, which was very nice and we used it many times.. It made our journey through Iceland a very pleasent, Thank you very much. Booking was easy. Good information. Car as described. Pickup at the airport by rental company. Good value for money.

Happily surprise about how undamaged the vehicle was....really rare with rental cars ✅ Slight detail, i am not sure the gas tank was full at the pick-up, the gauge went down very quick just between the pick-up area and the Harpa Concert Hall.

We rented two Dacia Duster 4x4s for our 14-day tour of Iceland. The rental was excellent. The car was high-performing with all the necessary comforts. The customer service was great. The airport shuttle service was also very convenient. Highly recommended company :)

The Duster got fantastic fuel economy There was plenty of room for three people and our luggage for a 12 day tour of Iceland.

Hi, Our trip to Iceland went great. However, we experienced a few disagreement related to the car and the car rental company Ring. First, the key of the car suddenly stopped closing and opening the car. Neither were we able to open the car manually with the key provided. We called Ring to get help about it and they didn’t do anything about it (except recommending to go to a mechanics but everything was closed on a Saturday where we were). So we decided to buy a new battery for the key (at our own expenses), but that only solved partially the problem, the key continued going off sometimes. As a consequence, we had to let the car open with all of our stuff inside, very stressful!! Second, we had booked the car drop off at 22h. We waited 30min before calling them and the person on the phone told us they had forgot us and that we had to go to the airport on our own and leave the car there ! This is unacceptable that no one informed us and that they Forget about us completely. Nonetheless, both the car and the tent were quite okay. But the service by Ring was really bad and disappointing, even more for a rental this expensive.
