My experience with MyCar and northbound rental company was excellent. From the moment we walked into the location, we were treated with utmost care. Car was brand new and exactly what we asked for. All the documentation was in order and we did not have any problems exploring the island. Customer service was great and the website was easy to book through. Fantastic!

Car was excellent, barely used before, very comfortable and economic. Staff super friendly and helpful. Almost perfect if not the fact that even the highest full 0-excess insurance doesn't cover windshield chips in case of hitting by a stone, which is an event that you cannot predict and you cannot prevent. It just happens and it happens quite often during spring and autumn on any road so be aware (basic Icelandic car insurance covers it btw). So we had to pay additional 1/5 of the overall price for something random we had no chance to prevent.

Excellent

We did not actually get the Toyota Corolla. It did not fit our 5 bags and 5 people as advertised. However, MyCar upgraded us to a Toyota ProAce city. This car fit us well and was very good. The only suggestion I would make for this car is that any car rented in Iceland in March should have studded tires for driving in the snow. Overall MyCar was very easy to work with.
