Mega Zipline

The vision for Iceland's largest zipline came to life in 2021 amidst the challenges of a global pandemic. Spearheaded by a team of Iceland's most seasoned mountain guides and search and rescue experts, including the highly experienced Haraldur Kristinsson, Mega Zipline promises a thrilling adventure while ensuring your safety and comfort.
Starting in the summer of 2023, Mega Zipline will take you on an unforgettable ride through Reykjadalur, a scenic spot that also offers access to Hveragerði, a charming town known for its geothermal water sources. Hveragerði is home to Kjörís, one of Iceland's most beloved ice cream makers, and the country's botanical center. Its greenhouses flourish thanks to the abundant geothermal heat that also powers the town's heating systems and provides a unique cooking experience. The town is traversed by the Varmá river, and a gravel road leads to a hiking trail that takes you to a stunning valley where you can relax in one of the area's natural hot springs.
