Great service and great vehicle for a large family group. Have rented from others in the past but will only use Thrifty in Iceland in the future. Well run business. Kind regards Rod Gillis

Good
Very good experience! Car was pretty new, (Toyota LC150) onl y 25.000 km. Fast pick up and drop off! Helpful employee I don't put 5 stars on rating just because tires were really too much worn, expecially front ones. They also were old (I can see many fissures in the rubber) and not quality tires (made in China). Apart tires, great experience and great price. I will rent again from Northbound surely.

Excellent
The car was great. We had not Problems with it and could drive everywhere very well. The pickup on the Airport was first a Little bit confusing because there was no one from your Team and we had to call the number on the voucher. But it just last 10-15 minutes and someone took us to the rental Station. so this was no problem. The return was also easy, short check of the car and than we were brought back to the Airport. Everything was finde, nice trip and on the next journey to Island we would take your cars again.

Very easy dealing to pick up and bring back the car. No technical problems with the car on all kind of roads. Pick up at the airport was a little bit unorganized and hasty.

Excellent
Pick up and drop off was quick and easy. The car did have a strong odor inside (smelled like kerosine to me, though I'm not sure that's what it was) but it got us around.

It was quite an old camper with some things not working properly and many scratches on the ouside. When we picked up the camper the light above the table in the living compartment dit not work. After we made clear that we wanted that the lights work properly, your employees managed to fix one of the two lights. We had to wait quite a long time. Also a warning indicator on the dashboard lightend up. One of your mechanics looked at it, hit something in the engine compartment and the light went out. But the same day it was back again. After consultation via e-mail with your company they assured that nothing was wrong and that I could ignore the indicator. On the first day the blinking light on the right side spontaneously broke off and was hanging on the wire. I fixed it temporarily with medical tape and later with stronger tape. The cooking plate did not work properly: the flow of gas stopped if the knob was released. This was very annoying! Also we had problems with the electricity: the alarm indicator blinked and the switch for dumping the clear water changed its position to empty the fresh water tank. After consultation with your company an electricien came to us in Vik and he detected that one of the battery cables was loose. The last two days the light above the table did not work anymore and also the light in the toilet/bathroom did not work anymore. Furthermore I noticed that the tire on the right front side was low in profile. When we returned the camper one of your employees was not so friendly. In a very rude manner he asked me for the keys. When we picked up the camper, the lady who helped us was very friendly. Contact about the incidents mentioned above was with Christos. I got the impression that he was trying to assist us as best as he could. - I think you should not have old campers in your fleet. It is no promotion for your company if you see the old campers on the road and having problems with starting the engine. - Customer service should be in the system of ALL your employees. - Written instructions in the camper and a car manual in English (not in Finnish!).

Great experience!! The workers were very friendly and knowledgeable and were very helpful in their recommendations for insurance packages as well as detailing various road cautions. We picked the Jimmy 4x4 and it was absolute blast. I highly recommend using this company for a great experience to travel Iceland!

Outstanding!
The older Suzuki Vitara was fantastic! We had plenty of room for my 6'1" husband and 6'2" son. Taller people will appreciate this info. The car drove great and the check in and out with Northbound was so easy! I hope we can visit Iceland again and we will rent only from Northbound. Thanks so much for the great experience!

Great experience, although we did not get the Hyundai -- they gave us a Kia, which worked out fine.
