Very convenient. Arrival at airport greeted by staff for pick up at rental office which is not far from airport along the road to Rejavik. Staff very helpful.

So I reserved a Honda HR-V FWD from Ice Rental Cars through northbound with pickup from Keflavik and a 5am pickup. There was no representative at the airport, but I managed to track one down around 545am. When we got to the counter/Honda dealership, they said there was some confusion and had sent our reservation/car to the downtown location. They scrambled and upgraded us to a CR-V, and the rest of the trip was smooth and easy. Once we got things sorted on the pickup, the car was nice, new, and reliable. Return was also pretty easy.

Outstanding!

The service provided was great. The personnel who picked us up and later dropped off at the airport was very friendly and helpful, everything went very fast and we had no problems with the paperwork. The car itself was everything we expected and we enjoyed driving it. All in all I can say that I would definitely recommend you to a friend and the whole experience was very pleasant.

The car came with a slightly deflated tire. When we pointed it out at the time of check-out, our agent said that's how it was (even though the car was tilted because of the uneven air pressure). We ended up putting the air in the tire ourselves at the nearest gas station. However, the low-air warning sign came back on after a few hours of driving. We drove back to the agency and asked for a replacement. Except for this initial issue, everything went fine. When we asked for the replacement, a different agent was there, and he immediately replaced it with another car (same model) which was perfectly fine. Returning went smoothly. The ride to and from the airport was provided in a prompt manner.
