Outstanding!

Loved it! There was someone waiting for us at the airport. Quick and painless paperwork and drop off. And the car was perfect for Icelandic roads!

Outstanding!

Great company! They were a little slow to get us at the airport, but when we called (use the second number btw) the sent someone over immediately. Our car was great, and all the existing damage was documented. We took a video to be safe, and this was smart, because upon returning the car our inspector asked us if we damaged the back of the vehicle. When we said "no" and showed him the video he said, "no problem," and quickly wrapped up our return and drove us to the airport. These 4x4 cars are tough. We were driving to Dettifoss and passed a bus and minivan with flat tires. We had no flats the entire drive. It also did well in the rain and wind. I recommend this company.

Good

Almos perfect. We had a little problem because we got stuck in mud and we discovered that the ring to pull the camper was broken. Hot water doesn’t work either.

Excellent

Wie got a Dacia instead of a Logan. That was even more comfortable and suitable for 5 persons and the roads :-) The car was a bit used on the outside probably due to using dirt tracks which we didn't mind. Service was very good, transfer to the airport by very nice employees of Lagoon Car Rental. Service

My experience with northbound was excellent. They were helpful all the time, got the car that I ordered with all the commodities specified at their web page, and everything went smoothly from start to end.

Good

Good car, rather high price, the employees couldn't answer all our questions and didn't spend a lot of time giving instructions. Fortunately we are familiar with 4X4 vehicles. They were not complicated when we brought back the car.

Outstanding!

Worked really well; was ideal for four of us with all the luggage fitting in the back just right, and for the gravel and dirt roads you have to go through to reach some of the sights. Built-in gps worked good and WiFi hotspot was very, very useful. Diesel was very efficient.

Good

Everything was great except one small comment. The tires were BALD. There was no tread left on them It made me very nervous to drive on the gravel roads. I should have checked ahead of time, but I didn't notice it until we were already hundreds of kilometers away from Keflavik. It seemed like the company was really pushing the limits of how far they could make those tires last. Luckily nothing happened, but I was filled with anxiety about getting a popped tire instead of focusing on having fun.
