Excellent

We received a KIA picanto instead of the Hyundai i10, and the car seemed new and in good order. Everything worked nicely, from the pick up to the drop off. We got the information we needed and we could call at any hours. Everyone tried their best to make any transition smooth, therefore the service was good!

Good

We rented a Dacia wagon from Lagoon near the airport for 9 days. Car worked well (recommend diesel as mileage is key when fuel is US$7.50/gallon). We bought the windshield insurance which came in handy as we apparently took some gravel damage. Lagoon is off-airport and we had a wait for pickup, but return was smooth. Staff was professional and there wasn't the dreaded wait at the counter either end.

Outstanding!

I had a great experience renting a 2017 Hyundai Tucson with Lagoon. The car was practically brand new and fit our group of 4 adults plus luggage easily. It was nice having a 4wd vehicle on some of the roads, particularly in the Westfjords region. Pick up and drop off went smoothly. Northbound quickly responded and fixed my booking when I realized I had entered the wrong times for pick up and drop off, and I was able to confirm directly with Lagoon that they had received an updated booking from Northbound. Great experience all around with both Northbound and Lagoon!

Excellent

General experience was really good. On pick up day there was no sign of them so I called and they got back to me and said they'd be half an hour late - they had to go and pick up a different camper as ours had been returned damaged, they gave us free gravel protection for the inconvenience of having to wait an hour in the end for them to appear - all good! On returning it, again no sign of anyone so I had to call and then wait for them to appear to pick up - no problems. Only bad part of the rental seems to be their inability to be where they are meant to be on time, all else was perfect and easy.

Outstanding!

It was a really good experience. Everything in the car was working properly. Customer Service was really good too. I like how we are also able to rent a portable wifi device, which helped us a lot with our navigation.
