Pros: friendly people, good 4x4 feature Cons: no Apple car play , car required ADblue and we have to pop the hood and fill it ourselves - we didn’t keep receipt and they would not reimburse us the $45 The steering was sluggish for some reason Overall too expensive for such poor services

Good

We did not receive the Nissan. We had a Hyundai Santa Fe with plug-in. It was a great car. Everyone fit in very well and it was very economical to drive. it would’ve been nice if this vehicle would’ve come with its own charging cord would be my only negative. Our hotel offered free charging stations which would’ve made it even more affordable to drive The only other negative about the pick up was that I signed a contract that said the gas was at 100% when we began driving it away from lava we realized it was at less than 50%. By that point I had no recourse as we were 50 km away.

It was a great experience. I received a free upgrade to a 4x4 MG which was great for the snowy weather. Staff were super friendly.

Excellent

Hello, We didn't have a Nissan but a Kia as a rental car. As a suggestion, you should give the exact vehicle details in such an email I got or keep it more general, for example "how was your experience with our car." What wasn't so good was that we had to wait an hour and a half for the car because no winter tires were fitted. We definitely needed these in the north because the roads were very icy. Everything else was perfect 👌

Very nice car, hassle free pick up and return no stress 👍👍 would definitely recommend northbound/lava car rental to anybody visiting Iceland

Absolutely great service!! I had a Toyota RAV4 in perfect condition and well equipped for the icy Iceland roads and the F roads. This was the second time I booked through this company. Would highly recommend.

We did not recognize the shuttle bus in the beginning since there is no LAVA car rental information on it. Took a while to get to their office. Other than this, everything was smooth and the car with 98xxx km when we got it was in good condition and we had no issue during the entire trip.
