Car Rentals in Iceland

Our pick-up was one hour late. The person picking us up said he tried to call me. I found that odd since it would have been an international call and I had no cellular data in Iceland. Our car had a broken windshield and was distracting at times. Other than the aforementioned, the 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Automatic car rental was perfect!! Thank you!

Second time we rented through Northbound and MyCAR. Everything was great, easy pickup and dropoff, new car, good communication.

Geweldige Service en vriendelijk personeel. De goedkoopste optie. Op de helft van de reis kwam er een fout melding in de auto. Na een bericht werd er een nieuwe auto gebracht bij ons appartement. Geweldige klantenservice.

The car was labelled as a 4 x 4 on the website, but we received a car that was 4WD instead. Very different, leading us to get stuck at one point. Car made a lot of interesting noises while driving, but nothing too major. We were given a car that had a tent on top (we did not request this), but the tent had broken latches (and was not secured properly) and repeatedly popped up while driving (sometimes on the highway).

Car was perfect for our needs, held the ground well & we felt very safe in it.

Cool car! Very secure. I had a lot of fun driving it.

The car was fantastic!

The car we rented from Thrifty (through Northbound) worked out quite well. Especially since we were visiting during winter and had several days of snow (10"+) and strong winds.

It was great! It performed very well in some very wet and slippery and driving conditions.

Our booking was changed to a FORD Kuga, which was fine. Spacious, comfortable and ran well.

A small problem with the pickup...the shuttle was too small and not everyone could go...we had to wait a long time on the return trip to the airport. But no "moving" problems... overall everything was good and OK. Happy New Year Uwe

This was our first of many trips to Iceland. We prebooked months in advance and our driver/transport to car rental was waiting for us at the airport. Our plane landed after they closed so it felt above and beyond from them to be waiting for us after hour. She explained everything throughly and went over all insurance options. Nicely answered all my questions. Went by effortlessly and will use them again in our future visit to this beautiful country.

The pick up and return went very well. The staff were excellent and very professional.

The Suzuki was perfect to go through the changing weather conditions! I would recommand this car! Employees were also very friendly, everything went very smootly. Happy to have chosen your company!

The Tucson is a hybrid car but the battery have been used up and I get no plug in to charge up Rental location should be more specify as there is no “GO ICELAND” colleague pick me up and another wrong company pick me to “4x4 rental” which your rental provider “ACE” was never mentioned in the booking ref page
