I rent this car for 15 days, all was ok. The car was brand new. It contained all the camping materials. I had answer to my questions on phone and email . No problem during my Holiday.

Happy moments with Go Campers van in Iceland

Perfect , we had a great trip around Iceland with the van !

Overall, pleased with the service, vehicle and price compared to other companies. All employees were responsive. Room for improvement, phone number printed on confirmation that someone would actually answer. Check-In Rep was happy to provide direct dial phone number to rental office, but that did not help me when trying to contact the office from the airport on my arrival. To be given a printed receipt of final transaction. Rep was not able to print a receipt and made hand-written notes on my contract with the "close-out" codes from his computer terminal. Would I use this company again, yes.

Lava is a family owned company & provided excellent service from picking us up at the airport to providing us with a great vehicle and once we had to say goodbye to Iceland they delivered us seamlessly back to the airpirt. Will use them again!

Dear Northbound I choose you, due to the best price. I found the service at northbound very fine, but I do have a couple of comments to Geysir car rental. First of all I was charged the partial payment twice, both when I booked the car, and payed the remaining amount when I picked up the car. I got the money back, but of course this was still a small point of annoyance. I tried to point out this to the guy at the rental service, but his level of engagement didn’t show that he cared. In general the guy was not very engaging and most of all gave the feeling that he didn’t want to be there. He didn’t smile at any point. Except for these things I’m happy with the service, and would defiantly consider using your company again.

Icerental 4x4 was an easy reservation with a good cancellation policy and overall, great customer service; however, the reason why I give it 4 stars versus 5 is the process when returning the car. It was great they allowed me to return the vehicle to their Reykjavik office instead of their Keflavik office (I was taking a domestic flight out of Reykjavik) but when I went to return the vehicle, there was no agent present at the office. There wasn't any instructions on what to do with the rental. If you can imagine that a customer would be worried to leave a rental car with no one around and no instructions on what to do. I called the office in Keflavik and the agent was very nice, but in the future, it would help if they had some guidance for their customers if that situation were to happen again. Other than that, I had a most positive experience with Icerental 4x4.

The car was fine, as was the experience, although the directions for pick-up were a bit confusing. The Northbound directions said to look for someone holding a sign with my name, but in actuality there was someone with a sign that had lots of company names. We got worried and started off a little shaky. Very friendly van driver, though, and overall fine. Nordic Car Rental a bit disorganized at the office, but again, fine.

The car was just fine and the experience was pretty good. The person picking us up at the airport was late so that caused some confusion. After that the rental was accurate and seamless. On the return it was very hard to find Lagoon. Google did not have an accurate location so more and larger signs would help. Over all the experience was pretty good and we would rent from you again.
