Touring Cars in Island

We liked the motorhome very much. It wasn't brand new, but seemed like it was. Everything in perfect condition and super-clean. You should emphasize to potential customers that the rental comes with a tablet, which provides you with a mobile hotspot to connect all your devices. This allows wifi throughout Iceland even in remote places. It also provides excellent weather and navigation apps. More importantly to us, we knew we were connected to our home in California, in case of family emergencies with elderly parents or other business issues. We could download emails and easily use any of our devices. Also, we found the Touring Cars staff to be exceptionally excellent--both on pickup and dropoff. But we also ran into questions on the road and called them on WhatsApp to get help. All problems were easily resolved using the VideoCall function. It might be a helpful thing to customers new to the vehicle to have a very brief how-to guide. Just outlining where the light switches are; how to flush the toilet; how to operate the heater, etc. Just enough info to get you going on specific tasks. For instance, there are shades on the passenger/driver side door windows but we'd never seen that before. So we never thought to look for them. Overall, we would completely recommend Touring Cars without reservation.

Hello. -we send you an email because our flight had changed and it took a long time befor the mail was answered. -The motorhome was fine. What we didn't like was the duvet. It would be much more convenient if we got a 2 persons duvet instead of 2 one person duvets

the trip in the caravan was very comfortable and enjoyable

The motor home was great. It fit all 6 of us perfectly. It had great gas mileage and was very clean. The rental company is a bit out of the way from the city but not to far from the airport. Nothing is included with your rental and you have the option to pay and add it on. The company does have a drop off service when you return your vehicle which is convenient.

This was our first visit to Iceland and the first time we rented a motorhome so one of the aspects we considered the most when it came to rent was the support that the team could give us in case of having an unforeseen event. And that was the case. We had a damage in one of the parts of the kitchen and the Touring cars team was pending all the time to achieve the repair of it in addition to being aware of us during the entire time we were on the road. Considering this, I recommend Northbound without a doubt for the whole process of renting a motorhome. They were helpful before, during and after our trip. And one last thing. Icelanders take great care of their island. Be a good guest, be responsible, follow the rules and enjoy the landscape. Thanks Northbound team.
