Very Good

hello, we are disappointed, the roof tent was wet inside when it rained. it is not normal especially in this country and with the price paid!

Outstanding!

Everything worked great, got picked up from the airport - 5min later we were at the car rental. We were earlier than expected so we received an upgrade since our car was not ready. No problems at all and very smooth process. The car we got was a plug in hybrid, and we charged it for free a couple of times when having lunch/dinner. There's allot of free chargers spread out over Iceland. Would recommend!

I loved Northbound the car company, IceRental 4x4, was so lovely and helpful. I had an easy ride through the ring road. I also used the sleeping bags from the company and found they were clean and great quality, kept me warm on the island!

The pick up experience was unpleasant. We waited for over an hour at the airport. We called IceRental several times with no answer. The first car they gave us, the USB outlet didn’t work to charge the phone. We had to get a new car. The USB worked to charge, but despite the car saying it had apple play, this didn’t work. Since there was no navigation system in the car, this made driving around difficult. Otherwise, the car was fine and the staff was nice.

The car was fin but ice rental 4x4 see SCAMMERS. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. I returned the car after only two days in perfect condition and the employee said nothing to me during the return then I left and was charged $434 two days later! I had paid for the car up front and paid for wifi $21 when we checked in. Then just a $434 charge with zero explanation. Horrific.

Fantastic!

It was the perfect car that we needed to see Iceland for the first time. Plenty of room for our bags in the boot. Having a USB B charger in the car was perfect for our long days out on the road.

Fantastic!

We enjoyed it, had decent gas mileage for an SUV size vehicle, was comfortable, clean and spacious. 4 wheel drive was a little difficult to get to work without very clear instructions, that we had to google. The sensors for the adaptive cruise control (collision alert system) might need to be checked, there were multiple times that they went out while driving, this could have been due to weather however.
