Dacia Duster proved to be a very good car for all roads in Iceland. For a family of four with a lot of luggage, 4 suitcases and 4 backpacks, there was still enough space. I am very satisfied with the service of Go Iceland. I would have liked the instructions for the meeting point by Northbound to be written in a little more detail, because we expected someone to physically come and meet us, and since it was a late flight, we weren't even sure if the office was open. However, it would be good if Go Iceland had a contact number that is open 24 hours a day for arriving passengers to inform them of the details or at least inform them of the arrival time of the van to pick up the passengers. There should be a timetable regardless of the arrival or departure time of the plane and passengers should adapt to it. On the other hand, the automatic message that we received from Go Iceland to wait at the orange sign was incomplete because it was not clear when someone would come, so after 15 minutes of waiting we decided to take a taxi and go to the office to find out how the driver is just went to the airport with a van to pick up a group of passengers. Despite being there for one hour and after all other customers got their vehicles we were still waiting being the last to get a car with two tired kids with us. Custom service was slow but pleasant.

I got a mazda instead which is in similar category. The car was good. No scratches or problems whatsoever.

We really enjoyed the car! It drove with no issues and rooftop storage and wifi router were very useful features. One small issue we had was not being able to connect the phone to car using Bluetooth. It's probably possible to do so, but we couldn't figure it out so we had to use our own FM transmitter to play our music in the car. Also we used it to charge our phones since only USB port that was available was used to power the router. Having device like FM transmitter with charging ports could come in handy for many users and they are very cheap.

It was very confusing that we didn't know what to look for in the airport. No where in the mail correspondence could we see company name. So we had to call the number in the email. And they had left because they couldn't see us. Big minus!! Also the var wasn't full when we got it. So we thought it fair, that we delivered it back with around 20 km less than full. Because of some issues the evening before. But they complained about it.

The vehicle was terrible. You should have that car checked or just get rid of it all together- it was basically a danger on the road. First, there was a sizable crack right in front of the driver that had been “repaired” with a semi-transparent patch which obstructed the view constantly. Then, the transmission is either defective or needs repairs. Three times the car started and then the clutch would not respond. It would jolt forward and then basically freeze. The engine would be running but the car would not move. It happened once while I was making a left turn on a road and almost had an accident because the car would not move after jolting forward. Then, the belts would randomly start whining - as in really loudly shrieking while driving. There are more issues, but at this point I don’t really add anything else. This was by far and away the worst car I have ever rented or driven.

The car was excellent - just what we needed. It performed well and was very economical to drive.

It was a big disappointment that a big message on the check-in counter showed that it was forbidden for all vehicles to drive in the F35.
