Great service all very friendly and helpful and car was great for the roads.

Everything was arranged ahead of our arrival and we did not have to wait long to receive the keys to our selected vehicle. Very smooth process to return the vehicle as well. I will definitely use Northbound again.

Let's start with the car itself: it was absolutely spotless and very nice to drive. We had a lot of great time in and with our Suzuki during our trip all over Iceland. But the pick up service was horrible. We missed the first pick up service, so I tried to contact someone via phone and even when I called the emergency number absolutely no one answered (imagine there is a real and urgent emergency and literally no one is answering the phone). After 1,5h I tried it again and finally someone answered but the person was super unfriendly and annoyed by my call. After 2 hours at waiting at the airport we finally got picked up. At the rental station, the guy was again very unfriendly and disrespectful, didn't take any of my questions serious and only tried to sell the most expensive insurance - which we denied. Without any kind of information he gave me the key and we get into the car. As soon as I started the lamps goes on and it said "System Failure", which made me scared to drive so I went inside again and asked what I should do. The men inside made fun of me and one of them was annoyed enough to roll with his eyes. Gladly only one took it serious and brought the car for check up. The mechanic was on the other hand very friendly and told me that the car is safe to drive - the lamp only means that the front camera and speed limit is broken. I rented my car via North bound last year in Iceland and the service was top. This year on the other hand was a whole disappointment, even though the car was perfect. For my next trip I might think again where I should get the car, as this years experience with the staff was not good.

Loved the car, very clean and everything worked well. Easy to get picked up at airport - just check address for return as we went to the GO Iceland but it was named another place…

It was sufficient for our needs. Great gas mileage.

Good morning, Our experience was not very good. The car we were given had a misaligned door (due to an impact), which caused noise and cold air to come in through it, making it unsafe. Additionally, the headlight adjustment was too high (the regulator wasn’t working), which caused inconvenience for other drivers and also blinded us. Because of this, we had to lose half a morning to take it to a workshop to get it fixed. Another issue is that there is only one pick-up point across the island, which made it impossible to exchange the car despite our problem. For these reasons, I don’t think I would rent a car from you again, nor would I recommend your services.

It was the perfect car for the Iceland Ring Road and the F-roads. We were able to ford the creeks without any problems.

I had a very enjoyable and adventurous trip exploring Iceland with the Duster from Go Iceland. I can definitely recommend using Northbound for renting a car. They even sent me weather updates warning of possible road closures due to stormy conditions.
