Konvin Car Rental in Island

We loved our van rental. It’s was in perfect condition. The heating was easy to plug in and turn on. The car drove great. The bed in the back was comfy. This van was perfect for or 3 day trip, and was a great price. The only thing I would have liked is better communication prior to coming to Iceland. I would have liked verbal confirmation on time and location of pickup from the airport. We were a bit worried when we arrived because there was no one answering the non-emergent phone number given. I would have loved to speak to someone with confirmation we were getting picked up to get rid of that worry. Everything did go smoothly though with getting picked up and brought straight to the van. Drop off was also very smooth, and we were driven straight to the airport. The gas tank on that van lasted forever. We only had to fill the tank to fill prior to returning it. Konvin employees were very nice and helped tremendously. We will defiantly use Konvin when coming back to Iceland.

The car was in good condition. Shuttle service to and from Airport were good.

Very good experience with the car rental. The van was very clean and comfortable, and drove great. Heater in the sleeping area worked very well, even in cold temps. There was one night when it went off for some reason and woke up very cold, but it did start back up in the morning. There was a little confusion at the pickup, they thought my flight was delayed but it was not so had to wait a bit for the pickup from the airport, and there was no one there when I dropped the car off, so left the keys and caught the shuttle. The agent who picked me up was very helpful and informative when getting the car, and very responsive when I had the issue when the heater.

Everything was perfect. The Yaris is the best compact car. Use only a few gasoline

The experience with the car I rent was totally satisfying!

The car itself was in perfect condition, it was clean, etc. The experience to get the car was quite bad. I needed to book a transport from the airport to the CarRental office, based on that Konvin Car had an hourly transfer. I was waiting at the airport without any luck, noone showed up at the meeting point they have confirmed. I needed to call them multiple times till someone answered my call and finally took us from the airport to their office. (I was waiting in total 40 mins!!!!) The administrative part of the pick up process was okay, but once I've received the car keys they told me that the car is outside somewhere in the parking lot and I should find it. (there was no light at the parking lot and when I've asked them to guide me to the car they told me that they dont know either where it is, so I should search it myself). Also they said it is important that I check the condition of the car and I took pictures to ensure that there wont be any unjustified claims from previous accidents, which was very very strange and indeed impossible in a parking lot without lights. So car was okay, but the transfer from airport to their office and the car pickup process was shocking.....

The camper van was clean, well equipped, and very capable of supporting our Ring Road trip.

Automatic car easy to drive with good tyres (quite important in Iceland as the road are not always perfect). It will be nice to have a small box available during the night to put some small objects (key car, torch...) easily accessible. Main issue during my stay (10days) was the parking. I don't think I paid everywhere as I couldn't upload the Parka App with my old iPhone, I didn't really understood how to use their site Parka.is (I contacted them, but no reply so far) and most important I couldn't find always another way to pay on the parking with a VISA Card. A better solution should be found (eventually send the bill to the renting company to pass it to the driver). Don't know what is the best solution. On a positive note, I love your country and will be quite happy to come back if I can.

Its a good car for the kind off trip that we made. We where 4 in the car and we felt well on it, all the 8 days trip. i recomend.
