Great experience! Got my Jimny + Roof Tent in no time and was on the road to adventure. Not one issue with the car or tent. Even in the cooler Icelandic weather, the roof tent was able to keep me warm at night. Make sure you bring a proper cold weather sleeping bag that covers your head. Rent this truck!! Best price in Iceland.

Great durable car, comfortable tent, good gas mileage. We spent 9 days on the road and sleeping in the tent with no issues at all! They also drove us back to Reykavik after we dropped off the rental car which was incredibly convenient.

Nothern lights car rental solved all of our requests. We arrived at night and they were waiting for us at the airport. We have made more than 2500 km without any problems. The Suzuki Jimmy was really confortable for two and we reached all of the places in our plan.

Company was great to rent from, vehicle was great to drive around had no issues with the car but the tent on the roof leaked and was soaked the whole time, luckily we had mats with us to keep us dry.

Better than expected. There are a lot of horror stories on the internet regarding car rental in Iceland, so I was surprised it went so smoothly. Prompt pickup from the airport and the car was ready. It was the exact model I had asked for. I took the sand, gravel and ash protection and as soon as I saw the conditions of some of the roads I was pleased I did. The GPS was also a great feature as I found it difficult to follow some of your road signs and would probably have got lost without it. It rained much of the time I was there but the little Jimny kept me warm, dry and safe. I found Northbound to be honest, easy to work with and reliable. Thank you for making a great trip so easy to manage.

Excellent service. We were met at arrivals and taken straight to our rental vehicle. Checking out the vehicle was quick and easy. The staff were great at explaining everything. There was no waiting around which was great. There were no problems with the car and returning the vehicle was very convenient. I would recommend Northern Lights Car Rental to anyone.

Good
It's Suzuki Jimmy, not 'Jimmy'. Every thing went very fine. I would suggest bigger tired since every time I drove on a washboard gravel road, I worried. But, overall, the car was OK.
