Wild Campers in IJsland

It was a good car, running smoothly, with a few minor flaws. The tyres were already quite worn down. The camping kitchen equipment was partly broken: The stove was lacking the valve, some of the plates were broken. A yellow warning sign was on all the time, apparently without significance, as I was told by the Wild Campers staff.

The Dokker was really suitable for a week in the Westfjords. The Overnight-Heatingsystem was great, the fuel consumption was low and there was enough space, even for two people. To bad, the side slide door could not be opened from the inside. Most of the time, I had to climb to the front seats, to get out of the car in the morning.

Great service from start to end (including pickup and drop from/to airport service charged). Very satisfied and recommend strongly for those looking for such adventure we really enjoyed with dacia customised van fit for purpose. Thanks to have honoured the contract by allowing us to discover Iceland / WestFiord in 10days with the freedom of having a campervan. All necessary items were on board of the vehicle to please us among the wild and marvelleous environment. Very lucky with charming and dry weather all along the journey. I am sure your service at actual reasonable price will make many more happy campers. Few personal suggestion if considered as room of improvement: a) the photocopy of the credit card both sides was frightening/scaring us at the pick-up desk even if we understood you experienced real troubles with bad customers in the past. It should be possible to keep only a print (engravement of the front part of the card only rather than risking the papercopy ends up in wrong hand) b) staff was surprised we asked them to provide a statement/signature to confirm we returned the vehicle that day and all was ok. All went well as they were finally pleased to do it but it seems that it was not common practice.

Perfect car

Hi, we are very glad. Dacia Dokker very positively surprised us. Thanks it our journey was enough cheap and comfortable. Heating excellent helped us during some nights. Thank you for your professional support and services. Probably, we would like rent camper again from you next year. I hope it will be possible ;-))

There was some trouble while picking up the car (first lacked roof-ventilation cover), but beside that no problems.

The car was great, and returning it was fine. However, the guy picking us up was half an hour late from what was supposed; it was dark and he didnt check properly enough what dents are on the car, we found additional one and were left worried about it. Then another day we were about to make ourselves food and found that the gas stove was missing a middle part, making it completely useless and we spent a day trying to contact them about it and to find where to get one.

Well organised, efficient. Staff knew what they were doing. There were a couple of maintenance issues with the vehicle that I mentioned on return
