I asked the staff to note them, and they assured me that all existing damage had already been recorded in their system. They told me there was nothing to worry about and that I could leave without any additional... Lees meer paperwork. * The car itself was acceptable, although it seemed rather old for a rental vehicle. Despite its age, it performed well throughout the rental without any mechanical issues. * Unfortunately, the drop-off experience was extremely disappointing. The staff member who inspected the vehicle was rude and immediately implied that I was being dishonest about the pre-existing damage. They insisted that the pick-up staff must have told me to take photos of the car and repeatedly claimed that the vehicle had been in perfect condition when it was handed over to me. I was also told, in a confrontational tone, “Are you trying to tell me that nobody warned you?” and that I should have read the contract. However, the contract does not state that customers are required to take photographs of the vehicle before leaving. Overall, while the rental itself went smoothly, the way I was treated during the return process was unacceptable. I felt I was presumed to be dishonest and was spoken to in a rude and unprofessional manner. That experience alone would make me reluctant to rent from this company again."

"The vehicle was reliable and perfectly adequate for our purposes, mostly driving on ring roads with some AWD sections. Unfortunately, I can't comment on river crossings, as there weren't any on our route. The rental process with Round Rental and the booking through Northbound was excellent. I would definitely rent through Northbound again on my nex... Lees meert visit to Iceland."

"We were not overly impressed with our hire car provided from Round. We were not given a 4x4 car, which i paid additional money for, but instead received an all wheel drive plug in hybrid vehicle. I consider this to be a downgrade as there were multiple options for me to hire an AWD car online at a cheaper price (like a dacia duster) than what i pai... Lees meerd for a 4x4, and dont think the car provided was that to be "or similar". The car also had a maintenance service and tyre pressure warning come on the car as soon as we turned it on, so we had little confidence with taking the car into the highlands as we had hired it for. Because it was a plug in hybrid as well, we had less kilometre range and needed to constantly top up the car with fuel. Not impressed at all."
