Icerental 4x4 í Íslandi

Wir hatten über Northbound 4 Tage lang einen Mietwagen in Island gemietet, inklusive einer All-inclusive-Vollkaskoversicherung von RentalCover, einen Dacia Duster 4x4. Buchung, Bestätigungen, Voucher und alle benötigten Unterlagen von Northbound und der Versicherung bekam ich sehr schnell nach der Online-Buchung (von Deutschland aus) zugemailt. Alles lief super ab, die Abholung vom Flughafen durch Icerental 4x4, bei der Rückgabe dann der Transfer sogar zu unserem Hotel für die letzte Übernachtung. Das Auto selbst lief super, es gab aber auch absolut keine Vorkommnisse und Gefahrensituationen. Das Personal von Icerental 4x4 ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich würde über Northbound sofort wieder einen Mietwagen buchen, meine 100&ige Empfehlung. Super, macht weiter so!

When I placed my order, I was in a page to get a midsize suv. They gave me a car instead. I was not real pleased with that

Pick up was more than 30 mins later than we were told it would be. We needed to return to hire centre due to warning lights coming on on the dashboard. The blade on the rear wiper was missing meaning that we could not clean the rear window for the duration of the hire. The car had been washed and cleaned inside but this meant that on the first morning we could not open rear doors due to them being frozen up. The child lock on rear passenger doors due was defective and therefore that door did not lock at all. We discovered this on the Sunday morning and had to adjust it.

Really happy with the 4x4 Dacia Duster, it was perfectly suited for the road conditions and it felt like a safe car to drive. It was good with fuel and comfortable to drive. And the interior screens and tech worked very well. Overall very happy with the car

Hello, Thank you for your email and your interest in whether we were satisfied with the car we rented from you and your service. Here are some of my thoughts: 1. The shuttle service to and from the airport was fine. 2. The paperwork was handled very professionally, although the employee spoke extremely fast, making it very difficult to follow him. But overall, it was okay. 3. Now, regarding the car. I had booked an SUV, a 2024 Opel Crossland X Manual (or equivalent), but what I received was a very, very old Suzuki. The car had 390,000 km on it and numerous exterior damages. In addition, there were technical issues, such as the passenger-side window, which we were instructed not to open as there was a risk of it falling out. The rear windshield wiper was missing, the front wipers were well past their prime, the studded tires and brake discs were in borderline condition. The car was, unfortunately, a disappointment. However, we did not want to cause any issues with your company or risk ending up without a car, so we decided to adjust our driving style to suit the old-timer and focus on enjoying our vacation. I would strongly recommend that you stop renting out this car. Best regards, Xaver Huber
